Faculty and staff members at Austin Peay State University recently announced a number of publications, conferences and credentials as part of their professional and scholarly activities.
University Photographer Beth Liggett's paper Do You 鈥淟ike鈥 What You See? Exploring Visual Rhetoric in Facebook News Photos, was chosen as a finalist for Graduate Student Paper of the Year by the Tennessee Communication Association. Liggett will present the paper at the TCA Fall 2013 Conference in Murfreesboro on Sept. 13.
