APSU hosts Fall Career Fair for full-time jobs
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. 鈥 Local employers looking for strong applicants to fill vacant positions are encouraged to attend Austin Peay State University鈥檚 Fall Career Fair & Professional Schools Day, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Oct. 26, in the Morgan University Center ballroom. The event, hosted by APSU鈥檚 Office of Career Services, is open to local and regional companies that are recruiting for full-time and internship/co-op positions. Graduate and professional schools will also be in attendance recruiting for specialized programs.

鈥淭his fair gives local businesses an opportunity to increase their visibility on campus, while also giving them access to hundreds of students,鈥 Dr. Amanda Walker, director of Career Services, said. 鈥淚f you鈥檙e looking for full-time employees or interns, this would be a great place to meet potential candidates.鈥
To participate, employers are encouraged to register online at . There is a small registration fee to reserve a table at the fair. Interested individuals should register early because space is limited. Lunch will be provided for vendors. The registration deadline is 5 p.m. on Oct.17. More than half of the spaces for the event have been reserved; be sure to register soon to reserve a space.
