Technology Advisory Committee

Membership:  Associate Vice President/Chief Information Officer as permanent chair, Vice President for Finance and Administration or designee, Assistant VP for Institutional Effectiveness, Planning, and Analysis, 1 dean, 1 academic chair, 1 faculty member from each academic college, 2 staff members, 1 resident student representative, 1 commuter student representative, Office of Information Technology directors will serve as ex officio members.  

Terms of Service: Members will serve a two year term.

Description:  The committee serves as a faculty, staff, and student advisory body to the Associate Vice President/Chief Information Officer.  The committee engages key stakeholders across the campus to increase communication and transparency about IT service delivery, service changes, project priorities, and policy review.  The committee will meet quarterly and serves to:

1. Facilitate communication on technology services, policies, and priorities between the Office of Information Technology and the Austin Peay community.
2. Advise on new and revised information technology policies.
3. Review services provided by the Office of Information Technology and make recommendations for adding, changing, and removing services.
4. Review project plans and recommend implementation priorities to the Chief Information Officer and Vice President for Finance and Administration.
