APSU PR and Marketing earns 20 awards from TCPRA state conference

Employees from Austin Peay State University鈥檚 Office of Public Relations and Marketing at the TCPRA 2026 State Conference, hosted May 20-22 in Chattanooga.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Austin Peay State University鈥檚 Office of Public Relations and Marketing received 20 awards from the Tennessee College Public Relations Association鈥檚 (TCPRA) 2026 State Conference, the highest number among the 20 competing institutions.

is an alliance of communicators across the state representing public and private colleges and universities, technical schools, technology centers, and community colleges. External judges awarded gold, silver, and bronze distinctions to members in various categories, with 462 entries for the contest period between April 2025 and March 2026.

鈥淭hese awards underscore that communication is not simply what we say, it is how we advance our mission,鈥 said Ginna Holleman, Austin 笔别补测鈥檚 chief strategic communication officer. 鈥淭he talented work of our colleagues helps people see themselves in Austin Peay, discover opportunities here, and take meaningful action. I am incredibly proud of a team that approaches this work with shared purpose and an unwavering commitment to the impact we create 迟辞驳别迟丑别谤.鈥

Among other recognitions, APSU received gold awards for its college-to-career billboard series and a Men鈥檚 Health Month column by Dr. Tim Leszczak, chair of the Department of Health and Human Performance.
