See President Whiteside’s latest Facebook, Instagram livestream

Austin Peay Interim President Dannelle Whiteside delivered a live message on Facebook and Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 17. You can see her message in the video below. She discussed the latest COVID-19 numbers and trends affecting campus.

She announced that the state has approved Austin Peay as a dispensing site for the COVID-19 vaccine. To read more about the announcement, click here.

She reminded students and employees that the University will be remote on Thursday and closed on Friday.

The award from the Tennessee Department of Education will provide funding for teacher apprentices through July 2027. The Grow Your Own Teacher Residency provides a no-cost pathway to a teaching career and was named the first federally-registered teacher apprenticeship in the nation.
