APSU Board of Trustees to host summer meeting on June 10

On June 10, the Austin Peay State University Board of Trustees will host its summer meetings throughout the day at 317 College St. on campus.

The day will begin with the board’s Academic Affairs Committee meeting at 8:15 a.m., followed by the Student Affairs Committee, the Executive Committee, the Business and Finance Committee and the Audit Committee meetings consecutively thereafter.

After a short recess, the full board will meet at 11 a.m. that Friday. The board will discuss several items, including a proposal for the University’s new five-year strategic plan and the proposed budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year.

APSU's 21st annual GuitarFest to feature Bryce Mullins, Alan Mearns

The Department of Music, with support from the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts, will present the 21st annual GuitarFest from March 16-17. All events are free and open to the public, and guest artists will perform at 7:30 p.m. on both days in the Art + Design Building's Heydel Hall.
