Happening today: Womxn's Empowerment Week enters second day

The first-ever Womxn’s Empowerment Week at Austin Peay State University will be filled with events for students and employees.  Each day will feature in-person and Zoom programs, such as a local, women-owned business vendor fair, along with various speakers.  Today’s theme focuses on advocacy and awareness. APSU's Eriksson College of Education receives $1.025M Grow Your Own grant

The award from the Tennessee Department of Education will provide funding for teacher apprentices through July 2027. The Grow Your Own Teacher Residency provides a no-cost pathway to a teaching career and was named the first federally-registered teacher apprenticeship in the nation.
