Former APSU student Calvin Lockett to perform tonight on ‘The Voice’

Former Austin Peay State University student Calvin Lockett will compete tonight (Nov. 5) in NBC’s “The Voice” during the Knockout Rounds.

Lockett will face off against Myracle Holloway, both of Team Gwen Stefani. Lockett will sing “You’ll Be in My Heart” by Phil Collins, and Holloway will perform “Can We Talk” by Tevin Campbell.

“The Voice” also will air the contestants’ meeting with “mega mentor” Taylor Swift.

The winners of the Knockout Rounds will comprise the Top 20 and move on to the live shows. “The Voice” airs at 7 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays. 

Lockett is the son of Lynnita and Calvin Lockett, pastors at Christ The Healer Church in Clarksville. He lives in Durham, North Carolina.
