APSU Art + Design presents fall senior thesis exhibitions

Fifteen Austin Peay State University Art + Design students will present their final projects in eight exhibitions this semester. The shows will contain a wide variety of work ranging from painting to photography to animation.

The final component of the capstone experience, students who are completing their Bachelor of Fine Art degrees with a concentration in studio art share a finished body of work in the Barbara Beach Gallery. Unique to this semester, a student who is completing a Bachelor of Art degree with a concentration in studio art will present a special installation in Gallery 108 in the Trahern Building.

The Barbara Beach Gallery is on the second floor of the Art + Design building in Room 201. It is open 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays. Opening receptions are generally 5-7 p.m. Mondays, except when noted, with students making remarks about their work at 5:30 p.m. Exhibitions are free and open to the public.
