Attending an Observatory Night
Observatory Nights are held on the Saturday closest to the First Quarter Moon throughout the year unless there is a conflict with a holiday. Start times varying based on sunset. Events typically last 2-3 hours, and temperatures often drop significantly after sunset, so please dress warmly and appropriately for the weather.
Admission is free, but tickets must be reserved in advance. Events are limited to 50 patrons per session to ensure the best possible experience for all attendees. Check our for upcoming dates and ticket information.

Arrival: Please drive slowly on Austin Peay property. Students will guide you to park on the grass near the facility.
