University Partnerships & Success Initiatives
Student Success drives the daily operations of University Partnerships & Success Initiatives. We want all students to have tools necessary to succeed in their chosen path. We work to develop and enrich the programs and services available for students. We want to continue improving outcomes for all students as we build towards the goals of APSU's Strategic Plan.
University Partnerships & Success Initiatives aligns resources from internal and external partners to provide the framework for an experience that enables students to reach their goals. Integrating external partners whose mission already aligns with those goals enhances momentum and provides additional resources. Engaging these partners, departments within the University, the APSU Foundation, and students to communicate opportunities and examples of success will ensure continued growth.

Nearly 40% of APSU students are the first in their families to attend college—and we’re proud to walk alongside them every step of the way. Through initiatives like G1 Govs, Purpose First Scholars, and the Tri-Alpha Honor Society, we provide mentorship, career exploration, academic support, and a strong sense of community. These programs are designed to help first-gen students navigate college with confidence and graduate with a clear path toward their future.
