Governors Orientation Checklist

Before you come to Governors Orientation, be sure to:

• Apply for Financial Aid

To receive any type of financial aid – including Lottery Scholarships – you must submit the .

It takes about three weeks to receive an award letter after you apply, so don’t wait!

• Apply for Housing

If you’re a single, full-time freshman under age 21, you must live on campus OR commute from the home of a parent or guardian who lives within 50 miles of campus.

You must apply for housing OR submit a Housing Exemption Form. 

• Complete Immunization Requirements

You'll need to complete the Certificate of Immunization, have it signed by a certified health care provider and submit it your the Health and Counseling before coming to Governors Orientation.

• Submit Final Transcript(s)
